WHAT IS OFF-SET OF A WHEEL?

         Consists roughly speaking if the vehicle wheel drawing is inward or outward. The basis for measurement of the offset is from the middle of the wheel width. The more positive the offset will be more into the wheel, if it is negative the trend is that the wheel is out of the body . The following illustration:
